Dorsey Yearley, MEd

Dorsey has devoted her educational career to addressing the needs of at-risk students. For many years, she was the Director of Student Services for the Wellesley Public Schools where she was an early supporter of inclusive practices for students with special needs.  She was also the Executive Director of the EDCO Collaborative where, in addition to her other responsibilities, she worked on developing a network of school districts with the shared mission of supporting the high achievement of students of color. Her areas of interest include inclusive school practices, co-teaching, differentiated instruction, RTI, teaming, and all aspects of understanding and implementing special education laws and practices. Her focus is on supporting systemic and building-based change related to practices that support diverse learners.  Her work includes reviewing programs and services related to special education for local public and private schools, ongoing consultation related to program improvement, and leadership coaching to new administrators of special education.
