Erin Wiesehahn, EdD
Erin has worked in elementary education for over 20 years, the past eight of which she has served as an elementary school principal in the Duxbury Public Schools. In this role, Erin has worked to build a strong culture of collaboration and respect among the staff and the greater community. Prior to the principalship, Erin was an elementary classroom teacher and a Curriculum Supervisor for all elementary subjects, preschool - grade 5. During this time she led the implementation of several new curriculum initiatives including math, literacy, and science.
Erin has carried her passion for curriculum development into her role as principal, and strives to be a collaborative instructional leader within the school community. She has also received her accreditation from NAESP as a National Principal Mentor, and has mentored principals both within and outside of her current district.
Erin received her bachelor's degree in English Literature and Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University. She went on to receive her Masters of Education in Elementary Education as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership both from Bridgewater State. Erin completed her doctorate through Northeastern University, with a focus on Innovative Teaching and Learning. Her dissertation research was centered around building collective efficacy and positive school culture.
