Nancy Marrinucci, MEd, CAGS

Nancy’s thirty-five years in education as a Spanish teacher, administrator, coach and mentor,  have been guided by her passion and joy for opening the world to students. She served for twenty-two years as the Chair of the World Language Department at Newton North High School.  In this role, she was able to broaden her impact on students by building capacity in teachers to reach their potential, and by empowering them to advance the department's mission.  Committed to instructional innovation, equity, and equal access, Nancy's “relationships first” leadership style created an environment in which staff felt encouraged and invested to work collaboratively toward shared goals.


Nancy’s interests and areas of expertise include: the development and implementation of programs such as international exchange, community service and the Seal of Biliteracy; teacher supervision and evaluation; instructional coaching; and leadership strategies.  Currently, she serves as the Instructional Coaching Facilitator at Newton North High School working with the assistant department chairs.


Nancy holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership from Boston College, a Master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science from Boston College.
