Kristen Evans, MEd, CAGS

Kristen Evans has over 28 years of experience as a teacher, curriculum coach, and school leader.  For the past 15 years she has been the Principal of the William Sheehan Elementary School in Westwood, MA.  Kristen has a deep commitment to providing staff and students with authentic learning experiences that allow them to achieve high levels of academic success in an environment that fosters the social and emotional well-being of all members of the school community.  As a student, Kristen's favorite subject was math. She carried over this love of math into her role as teacher, empowering students to solve problems in multiple ways and explore ways to implement what they were learning into real-life experiences.

Kristen holds C.A.G.S. in Educational Administration from Endicott College, her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Lesley University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boston College.  In all of her roles, Kristen has focused on building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and recognizes the value of creating strong partnerships with all stakeholders.
