Shephali Chokshi, MS

Shephali Chokshi is an avid learner, strategic problem-solver, STEM designer, curriculum coordinator, math coach, educational consultant, and published author whose passion for designing engaging instruction for all of our varied learners. She connects with, listens to and responds to the needs of content school administrators, teachers, Special Educators, and ESL teachers to ensure a systematic approach is taken in closing the achievement gap. Her passion for mathematics and learning has led her through a variety of experiences over the past 29 years to include delivering Professional Development to Math and Science teachers across the nation, receiving grants to travel to Peru and Panama to research math stories, collaborating with curriculum developers to design STEM challenges, and writing a Barron's Test Prep study guide prior to the adoption of the Common Core Standards.


In addition to working with teachers, her love and curiosity of students' thinking stems from her years of teaching a variety of levels, including: Elementary (Gr 2-5), Middle /High School, as well as GED. Shephali's work currently focuses on Middle and High School students and teachers as a Professional Development and Curriculum Coordinator. She has taught a range of courses through Fitchburg State University, Framingham State University and Mount Holyoke College, as well as presented at over 10 annual NCTM/NCSM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics/National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics) Conferences. She holds a MS in Education from Wheelock, 45+ credits in Post-Grad courses and a BS in Psychology/Math from Rutgers College. Shephali is thrilled to collaborate with a variety of leaders, educators and colleagues at AthenaK12 Educational Consulting to foster curiosity and wonder in all learners.
