Steve Ouellette, MEd

Steve has been the Director of Technology, Learning, and Innovation for Westwood Public Schools since 2010. Before that, he held the position of Math Department Chair in the Walpole and Westwood school districts. In his current role, Steve oversees a staff of 12 people with responsibilities that range from maintaining the district’s technology infrastructure to working with staff to leverage technology in meaningful ways to empower students to be the best learners possible.


Most recently, Steve has been actively involved in integrating artificial intelligence into the educational landscape of Westwood Public Schools. He is spearheading initiatives to develop comprehensive AI policies, ensuring ethical use and effective integration in teaching and learning. This includes providing professional development for staff and exploring innovative ways to use AI to enhance the educational experience for both students and staff.



Steve earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master’s in Teaching Mathematics from Boston University. He also holds the Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) designation from the Consortium for School Networking.
