Testimonials
Don't just take our word for it.
I never thought about empowerment prior to this group. It was always do an amazing job, be quiet and take on the next task. The articles, videos and conversations with the group inspired me to be empowered as a female leader. To speak up, share my ideas and OWN MY IDEAS.
----------
I would 100% recommend this group to all female leaders.
This group is a powerful reminder of the impact women can have when we are able to feel valued consistently. Joining and meeting many different women from across the State with varying perspectives has been an eye opening experience.
----------
I feel more empowered to advocate for myself and have a stronger awareness of my strengths/worth as a leader.
This is the first time I have been in a leadership group with women only and I did not realize, though I should have, just how much I needed to connect with other women leaders.
Being a part of this program helped to reduce the isolation I sometimes feel in my role in the district. It was important to make new connections and talk with one another in different pairings through the series, challenging the way I might typically approach a situation and increasing the facility with which I can navigate unexpected situations.
I try to listen and support female leaders more. I am getting to the end of my career and feel more empowered to offer nuggets of wisdom from experience to the younger generation of female leaders.
----------
This program has made a significant impact on me because before this group, I had never really paid attention to the difference in leadership style between men and women or reflected on how my gender has impacted my own leadership.

Special Education IEP Team Chairs InstituteSpecial Education IEP Team Chairs Institute
Create a climate of trust while navigating key obligations.
The team chair is integral in ensuring that the needs of all parties are met. This requires a skillful balancing of curriculum, instruction, student services and family engagement, along with strong relationships with colleagues, students and families. Unfortunately, this work can become conflict-driven, complex and isolating with few occasions for turning experience into wisdom. In a process where optimism, positivity, and belief in the process is critical, you must hone your ability to read the room, set the tone, model and deal with the physical and emotional manifestations of stress.
In this program, you will learn to lead meetings where everyone recognizes that they have shared goals, how to navigate the demands from each stakeholder, and to leverage your daily interactions into opportunities for growth.
