paraeducators and any educator interested in learning more about the paraeducator role and responsibilities
Paraprofessionals are every schools’ VIPs. The role of teaching assistants and paraprofessionals is varied, supporting students with the most complex needs. It can be different in every school and every classroom depending on the students’ needs and the teachers’ needs. Because of this it is important to have a toolkit of effective strategies to support students’ academic, emotional, behavioral and social needs. This series will examine effective strategies for you to draw on as you work with your students.
Sessions are best attended live, but they will be recorded for viewing on-demand if a participant cannot make it live to any one of the sessions.

In-person sessions allow for more intensive training opportunities, relationship building and group work.
Remote sessions provide convenient forums to sustain implementation efforts and address ongoing problems of practice.
Each series is available as four live interactive remote sessions or on-demand.
