FOUNDATIONS PLUS - FULL YEAR (Aug - Apr)
We highly recommend our full-year program, which includes five in-person sessions and a full 60 minutes of individualized 1:1 coaching (a $300 value) provided throughout the year.
This comprehensive experience gives participants the opportunity to deepen and expand their understanding of the educator evaluation process, including SMART goals, formative and summative evaluations, communication strategies, and meaningful feedback practices.
Designed for leaders seeking sustained growth and support, this package offers the most comprehensive learning experience and the greatest overall value.
FOUNDATIONS - HALF YEAR (Aug - Dec)
If your schedule or budget does not allow for the full-year program, our half-year option provides a strong foundation in supervision and evaluation practices.
Participants will engage in 2.5 in-person sessions during the first half of the school year, focused on developing and strengthening essential skills and understanding. The program also includes 30 minutes of individualized 1:1 coaching (a $150 value) to support successful implementation of key learning outcomes. Primary topics for the half-year program include SMART Goals and Unannounced Observations.
This option is ideal for educators and leaders seeking focused, practical support within a shorter timeframe.
A Job-Alike Series for
For Evaluators - Novice & Experienced
Educator supervision and evaluation is a powerful lever for improving practice, building culture, and creating change in a school or district. Through a series of interactive class sessions, role plays, peer feedback/coaching, we will increase the capacity of leaders to be effective in their role as evaluators.

$1500/person for 21 hour FOUNDATIONS PLUS
$1200/person for 15.5 hour FOUNDATIONS

- An understanding of effective teaching and a personal philosophy and approach to supervising and evaluating teachers

- Practical skills in providing effective supervision that encourages self-reflection
- The capacity of evaluators to be more effective in their role as supervisors and evaluators so they may utilize the powerful lever of supervision and evaluation for improving practice, building culture, and creating change.
LEARN ABOUT
SESSIONS 1 & 2 PRIMARY FOCUS AREAS
FRAMING
- Understand the purpose of the system and what we are trying to accomplish
SMART GOALS & EDUCATOR PLANS
- Understand the components of effective SMART goals and Educator plans
- Develop strategies to respond to goals and plans that need revision
UNANNOUNCED OBSERVATIONS
- Learn to manage the observation process
- Develop strategies for prioritizing observations and conversations
- Increase skills in focusing on the critical aspects of classroom observation in order to have the greatest impact on teaching and learning
SESSIONS 3, 4 & 5 FOCUS AREAS
FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT AND SUMMATIVE EVALUATION
- Assess educator progress towards attaining goals set forth in the Educator Plan and performance on Standards
- Analyze evidence of performance on Standards and goal attainment to arrive at a rating on each Standard and overall
COMMUNICATION & FEEDBACK
- Develop activities that build trust and enthusiasm for frequent feedback and conversations based on classroom observations
- Develop and sharpen the skills required to provide effective written and oral feedback to teachers following an unannounced observation
- Deepen professional conversations with teachers to strengthen collaboration, develop a reflective culture, and help educators grow through the observation process
- Develop skills to engage in difficult conversations
COACHING SESSIONS
- Discuss your difficult cases, align your practice with your district expectations, and refine your ability to implement a growth-oriented system of supervision and evaluation
