Dave Castelline, EdD

Dr. David Castelline brings a wealth of classroom and administrative experience to his work at AthenaK12. With 20 years of experience as an elementary school principal in Newton, MA, along with varying classroom and instructional assignments at the middle and elementary school levels, Dave has developed a deep understanding of the challenges for all aspects of leadership. His expertise in areas such as supervision and evaluation, curriculum review and design, professional development, community relationships, culture building and student achievement make him an invaluable resource as he provides guidance to prospective and new principals. Dave is also the Director of the Educator Leadership Institute, a principal preparation program sponsored by ACCEPT Collaborative and Fitchburg State University. Dave earned his Doctorate Degree in School Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell,  has a Master’s Degree from Boston University, and is a graduate of Springfield College.
