Mary Bruhl, MEd

Mary serves as the Director of Student Services for Medfield Public Schools, bringing more than 20 years of experience in Massachusetts public and approved special education settings. Over the course of her career, she has held roles as a teaching assistant, teacher, and administrator, developing extensive expertise in supporting students with diverse and complex learning needs.


Mary has published articles in the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness and currently serves as a visiting instructor at Framingham State University, where she helps prepare the next generation of special education professionals.


Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Russian from the College of the Holy Cross. She earned a Master of Education in Severe Disabilities with a concentration in Deafblindness from Boston College, as well as a Master of Education in the Teaching of Students with Visual Impairment from UMass Boston. She also holds a Certificate in Administration from Lesley University.



Throughout her career, Mary has remained deeply committed to fostering inclusive educational environments and ensuring that every student receives the individualized supports and services needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
